Best David Bowie Album?

Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust and Young Americans might have been his most popular albums, but in my book, Bowie's best albums are:

Diamond Dogs - listening to it now, it's brilliant from start to finish - his voice was probably the strongest ever, incredible range and really strong

Man Who Sold The World - really gritty and raw

Station to Station - great songs - daring musically without being overly self-indulgent, though the title song might go on for too long for some

Well, I haven't relaly chcked him out cuase he just has too many albums. But I consistently hear Ziggy Stardust is his best work.

Perosnally, I only haev his greates thits,

I like Bowie, mostly his 70's stuff.

My fav is The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

but....ive never really heard The Man Who Sold the World , so I gotta check that out.

I'm not a Bowie fan. I just dont get "it" :dunno:

Took me awhile to see his genius, strange because all of the bands I am big into were influenced by Bowie. I bought his "Berlin Trilogy" for my girlfriend, absolutley, I am a believer now..

I like the Eno period the best (Low, Heroes and Lodger) though I also like Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane and Station to Station quite a bit. Low would be my favorite.

For many years I have wanted to head up a task force designed to get masses of hard drugs into David Bowie without killing him. As far as I am concerned, when he started to sort himself out he went downhill creatively.
