Before Chucky there was this little guy. lol

Fuckin Hell!!!

I remember seeing this movie in the late 70s. Freaked me out. Chucky is a twink compared to this thing.

I still have nightmares about this pint size hellion.

What made Child's Play scary is that it involved a child. At the time a child in a scary film was cathartic to many adults due to childhood fears. As the years go by they get deeper and deeper into fear.

A film in 1975 could be simple tricks compared to a film in the 1980s. That is why films nowadays are more gory than they are scary. As a society we have become desensitized to scare factors and react more towards dismemberment, sexual assault, and more emotional reactions. Instead of OMG! that thing jumped out from under the couch!

Damn that was scary!

Because it's not like you can, you know....stomp on it?

These days vintage horror movies are only effective in making you laugh your ass off.

I hated this little bastard after seeing Trilogy of Terror, I remember after seeing it, I would take all my giant robot model toys that shot fists and missles and ring them around my bed in case this guy attacked.

I remember running across it a year or so ago and was bored to death in the first 5 minutes. So I never did watch the whole thing.
