Bear takes car for joyride

A Colorado bear took an empty car for a joyride before crashing it into a thicket in Larkspur, near Denver.

The Story ****** were ****** in their home, when the stray bear managed to open the unlocked Toyota Corolla and climbed inside.

It is thought that a peanut butter sandwich left on the back seat of the car attracted the bear.

A Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman said that it is common for bears to enter cars or even houses in search of food.

'It happens all the time' he stated, 'They're very smart.'

*********-year-old Ben Story stated that the bear must have knocked the gear selector into neutral, sending the car rolling down the ****** driveway before crashing into the thicket.

The bear, which remained trapped inside the car, had to be freed by local authorities, using a rope to open the door from a distance.

Story is now looking for a new car, after the bear ruined the interior while trapped inside.

The bear also left a 'present' on the drivers seat. 'A nice pile, actually' added ****** Ralph Story 'Something to remember.'
