I love FPS. Just hate EA. Although I never ended up buying BF3, if this one doesnt have online pass scheme this time around I' ll buy it new at launch for sure.

I agree, I loved BF3. It has a lot of problems starting out, and I am annoyed that some of those problems still exist today, but overall I think it was a great value. I mean, I played the hell out of that game. Definitely worth the money compared to some of the games I've bought. I just hope BF4 steps it up a notch.

Finished single player and just started MP. The story was meh, but I love the game mechanics. And the sound effects during firefights is just spot on (Well, what I'd imagine one would sound like.) The thing that impresses me the most is laying down suppressive fire. This game nails it. You really get an appreciation for the effect when you're the one pinned down.

Here's a demonstration of exactly what I'm talking about. It's from BF3 but it shows the effect that suppression has on your ability to return accurate fire.

It's been tweaked in BF4 where light machine guns still have the supression effect but with smaller weapons it's been reduced or eliminated entirely.
