Background pictures for profiles

If i recall from the past i use to have a profile background on my profile which had Kortney Kane in.

I'm just wondering whether this feature will be re enabled or there a way around this?

Was there a reason why this was removed?

1. Click your profile.
2. Click Account details
3. Click Edit profile banner (underneath your avatar)
4. Click Choose file
5. Select image of your choosing
6. Click Okay

No that just goes in the banner. I mean like how myspace backgrounds use to be when you go to someones page like a skin underneath the text and all the tabs.

Like this, it goes across the whole page

It was in the past but dunno when it was removed. I didn't mind but i love making my profile a bit fancy like in the past
