When you visit an online porn site—even if you’re using your browser’s “private” or “incognito” mode—there’s a nine out of 10 chance that your data is being leaked to one of the giant internet platforms, most likely Google. Facebook, Oracle and several other companies also place “trackers” on porn sites, according the new study that scanned 22,484 porn sites for the tracking software, according to a New York Times report published on Wednesday.

Good find, Arthur!

On a related topic: unfortunately, Dish's voice search has now started using Google services. It's now the only option for voice search - they've discontinued their own voice search service. I read through the user agreement and You Might as well just send a key to your house to Google. Right down to them acquiring pictures of you, having your phone number, address, social security number, credit card number(s) and anything else you gave when you subscribed to Dish, or that they can steal from your wifi network, Google (and their spying kinsmen at Facebook and Amazon) have truly become Big Brother.

I'm disappointed because the Dish voice search was a pretty fast and convenient way to search for shows or channels - and for those reasons, I'm sure that most people will take the bait. But now that they're using Google, I'll do without voice search. I don't sign in to ANY Google related services - same with Fakebook. If not for using Amazon Prime, I'd avoid them too. And I think that people who have Alexa, Google Assistant or Facebook Portal devices in their homes are deranged.

"Well, dur... uhh... I ain't gots nuffin' to hide." Yeah, well... that's not the point, you dumbass sheep. Some of us don't want companies profiting from violating our privacy or selling our personal information to any Tom, Dick or Harry.
