We have always had "village idiots" since the first stories were written. There were always those strange fucks who were loners and viewed the rest of the world through eyes that only saw resentment and animosity. They have been labeled as geeks, nerds, losers, psychos, weirdos, freaks, outcasts etc... I'm sure you could name a few as well. We all know of someone like this and cinema has given us many characters based on this very person. Robert Deniro played one in Taxi Driver.
Now with the evolution of the internet, all of these village idiots now have a way of finding one another and having a social life for the very first time. With that freedom of communication has come an entirely new world for these outcasts. They get to create an online persona with any name they want. Some pic simple names, others choose names that are ominous and tough sounding like "DarkLord" or "Hardcore" while others choose names that give them a seeming sexual prowess with names like "bigwarmload" and "longhardcock" and some even choose names based on the car they have or wish to have. They are big and bold and brave for the first time in their lives and get to talk to girls, sometimes famous girls too! They get to flirt and of course, talk tough. They are no longer pussies and for the first time in their lives they can speak up. they can insult someone without getting an ass beating. They get to confront people and make threats and throw insults around with absolute zero consequences because no one knows who they really are! They are all big strong virile men with the skills of Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee combined!
This new world of possibilities is like a loser's paradise! Who needs a vacation on a beach somewhere when you can login as your fantasy person that you wish you really were? They go from being Gilbert Gottfried to Rambo with a few clicks! They go from being a pencil neck chronic masturbation champion to having a virtual 10 inch penis with thousands of sexual conquests!
For those of us living in reality these people are so easy to spot. Of course they will proclaim that they are really successful in the real world and come to the forums to enjoy discussions and get away from the tedium of everyday life as an international playboy. They will say how they could get any woman they want, especially better than the woman they are addressing on the forum. They are men's men, and could easily step right into those Dos Equis beer commercials that feature "the most interesting man in the world!"
But in reality it's a sad existence. They are one over-the-line insult away from being suspended or banned from their existence. They get their bullshit confused and sometimes slip up on their stories of grandeur. They claim to have fucked the world's most exotic women when in reality the best pussy they ever had smelled like a dead body and had dried pee in the folds. The only ass they ever kicked was in a game of Mortal Kombat on Nintendo. Some live in an apartment, a few in a house but most live in mom's house and while they sit writing about their latest conquest they are really sitting in week old underwear with shit stains are the only thing still holding the fabric together.
Some of these sad souls are the result of bullying, which is one of America's latest crisis topics. All the more reason to fight against it.
