I have a family member with Type 1 and with a "pump" it is controlled but her lifestyle is changed forever. If she is very careful about all she eats she will be fine but that is easier said than done

Asia seems to deal with it really well, taken in consideration that she is new to this sate of health. Posting a pic of her newly stacked fridge, all the right food picks, commenting with the grumble to be expected from a fellow cchocolate lover.

As a fellow diabetic, I can say, it isn't really a life sentence if you are smart, make the changes needed and don't freak out over it. Because body AND soul play into this. If you are relaxed, your sugars way better.

People, cut it out. She has diabetes, and it is new to her. She is dealing very finde with it, and there is no drama unless you make it so.

Yesterday we chatted on Facebook and she is accomodating to new blood sugar levels, her eyesight wasn't so good, now it is getting better again.

I have been through all this, as most diabetic, too.

Oh, and it does not mean: No more chocolate.
