As a former comic book fan, I'm disappointed with Spider-Man *SPOILERS, I guess*

Not the character itself, but rather how Marvel has completely ruined the story and continuity lately. They've thrown out YEARS of plots and storylines just to break up the Spider-Man/Mary Jane marriage. What makes Spider-Man so appealling to a lot of readers is that in a way, you grow up with him (albeit he grows up a hell of a lot slower) as the comic goes along. By going through with this new direction they're taking, it basically means everything you've read about the character is completely null and void.

Eh. I shouldn't be complaining, but being that I used to read a lot of these back in the day, it kind of hurts knowing that everything that made Spider-Man progress as a character over the years is just supposed to be forgotten like that.
