Don't know if there are any comercial artists on here or not, but there is a bill being ****** in May that will totally fuck us all over.
The bill is called the Orphan Works Act, and it will affect all comercial artists, especially photographers and illustrators. It will basically make images where the creator "cannot be found" into public domain. This means that if I submit something to an art site like deviantart.com or the concept image site,then someone finds it, they can then use it, without my permission, or even telling me. It will override the current copyright laws set up to protect small businesses (comercial artists) in the 70's.
The only thing we can do now is write to our senators and let them know about the negetive impact this will have on all of us. Look it up and see what you can do to stop it. It is called the Orphan Works Act.

There is also an interview w/ Spider-man comic artist Alex Saviuk at the bottom talking about how it would put him out of buisness.
