Are You The Type Of Person Who Likes To Say "I Told You So!"

I am and relish the opportunity to tell someone, "I told you so!" I berate them, rub it in, and hold that shit over their head as long as I can. Feels good.

May I suggest keeping a scrap-book that you pull out whenever they visit? A two hour presentation with slideshow also helps to turn the evening into a party. At least that's what my sister does whenever I visit her, the bitch :crying:

I'm right way more often than I'm wrong so I really don't make much of an issue of it.

No. For one, I hate when it's rubbed into me. If I happen to be right, I just let it speak for itself. And sometimes not pointing it out annoys the other person to no end.

I think it but I don't say it. Or if I'm feeling particularly smug I might hint at it until they give me a look that says "don't you fucking say it!"

No. It's pointless other than to self-aggrandize and make the other person feel bad. I'd much rather hear them tell me that they were in error than for me to boast about being right. Ain't none of us right often enough about anything to brag about anyway....except Las Vegas bookmakers.

"I told you so!" = "Mitä minä sanoin!""

I've heard that phrase often.

"Ich hab es dir gesagt!"

I try to bite my tongue when it happens. Happened just the other day, twice. I stay away now, it pains me.

Regardless, Ther Fly approved. Damn.

I think a healthy dose of schadenfreude is a wonderful thing. But being able to say I told you so is like Nirvana.

Yes I am and I have a tendancy to prove people that they are wrong when I warned them a very long while back that the choice they make is flawed or out of touch with the reality.
