First of all, it's not a song, it's a piece; a song has words and a piece doesn't. Second, I tried using my phone's music recognition software to find out what it is, but, since there's someone speaking over the music, the program doesn't recognize it. I'm guessing that it was just music written to serve as the background music for the program, as is often the case.

I'm guessing that it's probably from a movie soundtrack.. which one, I don't know.

Someone in the you-tube replies, suggests 'Armageddon' and 'The Rock'

Have you considered the fact that it might have been composed for that event, by the people who made the racing broadcast?

yeah, sounds like an original composition. they often have an orchestra that producers tunes for things like that, to sounds like the Olympics theme.
