Never a 14Ker. My son and I climbed Guadalupe Peak in west Texas a few years ago. It's only 8,751 feet high but it has a 3,029 foot prominence and the trail is only 4.2 miles so it is really steep. Like Longs Peak, no technical climbing skills are needed to scale it although there are some places where you need to scramble. Strenuous as hell. It damn near killed me and I have no desire to do it again. I'm a huge mountaineering buff but from now on I only want to read about it. My son has continued to climb but not me. :D

Some awesome sights at Rocky Mountain National Park....I would recommend that anyone who visits the great state of Colorado take the time to visit it. Well worth the time.

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
I don't climb mountains, but I love to hike.
Jungfrau, Jungfrau joch, those are the biggest that I can remember doing offhand.
I love it, one post about hiking and he starts up on the subject.

6000 ft mountain is the highest for me.

Not quite 14,00.

Mt. Fuji (12,389 ft) in Japan. I climbed that sumbitch when I was a 15 year old military brat.

To be fair, the tour bus takes you up about half way.
