Well, was doing some search online last Thursday, clicked on some google link and somehow ended up with some kind of adware or malware. It started opening up a bunch of IE windows, mostly ads for some arcade site, no porn ads, at least not yet, then when I started searching for info on how to get rid of it, like googling "getting popups", anytime I clicked on the results it would redirect me to some other site, even to a site where all it had was a download link for a "popup blocker", it does it with IE and with Firefox, Safari is okay, I was able to open some of the links for microsoft, PC world and other helpful sites. Following some advice, I downloaded Hijackthis and Ad-aware and ran them but the problem still persists. Ad-Aware did find some stuff and got rid of it but I still get those pop ups. Hijackthis just tells me something about "right click and run it as administrator" but when I right click on it there's no "run as administrator" choice. Then when I leave the PC just idle when I come back there's a whole bunch of IE windows open, most of them with that arcade site or something like this one:
