About
About annastayziaa
I'm an Armenian-American woman of Armenian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean descent who shares her truths and influences her cultures through being true to herself and encouraging others to be true to themselves as well.
I transparently inspire people into being better versions of themselves and healing trauma cycles that no longer serve us, nor our communities.
I can be messy, awkward, imperfect, emotional, quirky, weird, etc. - and I own it all. That's the point: to allow myself to express whatever part of my humanity and truths I choose to (or not to), and for that to be okay.
I'm best known for my video content about my cultures, Armenian intersectional feminism, body positivity, confidence-instilling videos, curvy fashion influencing, dancing, piano playing, singing, and mind-body health tips that have worked for me.
My "Why" (I Do What I Do)
- Being the Change: I'm being the person I needed growing up and the person I still need today, which is a journey that makes me so happy.
- Inspiring instead of scolding, shaming, or punishing people into being better towards themselves and others (humans, animals, and our planet).
In doing so, I inspire and help others along my journey.
I've been through a lot, and you have too. That's why this happiness that I've created for myself is such a victory for me and I have so much happiness in me that I want to share it with whoever is open to it.
All of my content is free because I want whoever may need it to have as little friction as possible in accessing it.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Q&A
- How old are you?
- 26
- Where do you live?
- Los Angeles
- Where were you born?
- Los Angeles
- Where is your family from?
- My most recent ancestors are from Western Armenia (which doesn't exist anymore due to the Armenian Genocide/Holocaust in 1915 launched by the Ottoman Turks).
- My grandparents were born in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries due to their parents (my great-grandparents) fleeing or surviving death marches to surrounding countries.
- My parents were born in modern-day Armenia (also known as Eastern Armenia).
- My Father was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia.
- My Mother was born and raised in Gyumri, Armenia.
- My grandparents and great-grandparents repatriated to modern day Armenia (Eastern Armenia) once and twice (my maternal side repatriated once and paternal side repatriated twice) prior to immigrating to the United States with my parents.
- I am the daughter of Armenian immigrants.
- I took a DNA test and the results came back showing I am of Armenian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Egyptian, and Persian ancestry.
- Are you fluent in Armenian?
- Yes, I am fluent in both Western and Eastern Armenian (read, write, speak, understand). I often blend the different dialects I have studied (Western and Eastern) and picked up on throughout my life with my American style of communication.
- Do you speak any other languages?
- Spanish: I took two years in high school and what I learned stuck well because I grew up in a Spanish speaking community.
- Are you single?
- No.
- Why/how were you single for so long?
- Up until recently, for a while I had my guard up too high to give anyone a real chance. Will be adding lots of blog posts about this soon.
- What motivates you?
- Gratitude. a) There's never been a better time to be alive in the history of the human species. We have the internet. b) The odds of being born a human being are 1 in 400 trillion, which makes each human being literally a miracle. c) My parents', grandparents', and great-grandparents' life stories further inspire me into defaulting into a place of gratitude (while still validating my other feelings). I'm so blessed to be born, raised, and live in the USA, where I have infinite opportunities that previous generations (especially the female generations before me) never will have.
- Who is your inspiration?
- Everyone and everything, truly. This includes myself and my younger self and my future self. This includes you. This includes my ancestors and all the strong yet soft women and girls that have existed and are yet to come.
- If I had to name names, a few of the people who inspire me (in no particular order) are:
- Gary Vaynerchuk (serial entrepreneur and an emotionally intelligent man with a good heart).
- Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (writer and feminist).
- Trauma therapists and trauma-informed therapists.
- Advice for people suffering from body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and low/no self-confidence? How are you so confident?
- I will attach links here of my content answering these questions as I get more tech-savvy with my website, but for now I highly recommend you read my entire "Body Positivity Manifesto" blog post on my website (can also be found on my Medium blog too). It's a framework I base a lot of my content on and it gets to the root of a lot of issues, including these three topics.
- These are very big questions with a lot of nuances that I address and will continue to address in blog posts and YouTube videos dedicated to each topic. I've touched on all of them already in some of my YouTube videos, TikTok videos, Instagram posts, and blog posts, including my "Body Positivity Manifesto."
- I've been putting out a out a "How To Be Confident" YouTube series every month and tackling different things I've overcome, my takeaways/life lessons, and things I'm in the process of working through.
- I'm also slowly working towards being more consistent on my podcasts, so keep an eye on them in the coming months.
I will be adding more Q&A's, so check back from time to time to see the answers to your questions!
