Ann Coulter: Gun Crime Is 'Demographic Problem'

Ann Coulter made a jawdropping claim about gun crime and minorities on Monday's "Hannity."

The conservative commentator said that she just got back from England, and addressed comparisons of the country's low rate of gun crime relative to the United States. Her remarks start at the 3:40 mark in the clip above.

"If you compare white populations, we have the same murder rate as Belgium," Coulter said. "So perhaps it's not a gun problem, it is a demographic problem, which liberals are the ones pushing, pushing, pushing."

She continued sarcastically, "Let's get more Colin Fergusons and whoever the guy was who shot up Fort Hood. Why are they coming in to begin with?"

Ferguson, who immigrated to the States from Jamaica, and Nidal Malik Hasan, an American and army major serving as a psychiatrist at Fort Hood, killed multiple people in mass shootings.

Coulter added that banning gun magazines would not stop public shootings, claiming that Ferguson had time to reload his gun. He had actually used two fifteen-round magazines during the shooting, and was pinned down and stopped when he was reloading his third magazine.

It's the same in other poorer areas around the world. The majority of Botswana's population is black, and it has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. It is also one of the richest countries in Africa.

2 fifteen,rounds magazine = 27 dead. 2 injured
If you do the maths, 2 ten round magazine would have done 18 dead.
9 more people would have survived

Also, how many magazines James Holmes used ? What weres these magazines capacity ? Wouldn't he have killed much less people with only 10 rounds magazines ?

1) If you're to say such things, you have to bring proof of it.
2) Black and latinos are the criminals ? It's a little more complicated than that. Statistically, there are more crimes among the poors than among the riches so you could say that poors are the criminals, not riches. There more crimes incities than outsides so you could say that urbans are the criminals. Crime is related to wealth.
I can't prove it buy I'm pretty sure that the percentage of criminals among the whites living in "ghettos" is nearly the ame as the percentage of criminals among black people living in ghettos.
The sames guys that are criminals living in ghettos, if they would have been born wealthy, they wouldn't have become criminals.

Crime is not related to race or culture or whatever, it's related to wealth. The more wealthy is the family in which a kid is born in, the less chances there are for this kid to become a criminal.

Oh, right, I forgot, its not crime, its poverty. I always get those two concepts confused. What a cop out. And for future reference, it would be in your best interest not to start a post with "If you're to say such things, you have to bring proof of it," immediately followed with your own claim, qualified with the statement "I can't prove it but I'm pretty sure..."

Also, there is proof. Accounting solely for race, blacks commit disproportionately more gun crimes than any other racial demographic. You can excuse it like everyone on the left is wont to do or you can just look at the data and accept it but either way, its a fact.
