Hardly. A college degree is not, and has never been, a measure of intelligence - especially not in these days of specialized "social science" degrees. A degree only represents that the person has a level of subject knowledge and was able to fulfill the requirements necessary to get that degree. It has nothing to do with their I.Q. or common/practical sense level. I can't count the number of pure idiots that I know who have one of these fluff degrees. Like I said though, I don't know this girl. So maybe she is intelligent. But she most definitely has a worthless, fluff degree. If she goes back and gets a degree in electrical engineering or biochemistry, I might be more inclined to agree that she's a smart cookie.
