It's now been a year since I found and joined this board. It was a 4Th of July week while I was on vacation and the house was empty. It had been 11 months since I found my *** Sean dead and *** Tom just went to Iraq as a machine gunner on a Humvee as part of a scout team and my little ******* had been dead 6 months; I was going out of my mind reliving Sean's death, worrying about Tom and grieving my *******. I needed a break from all of that and some how I found that here.
This board has given me a refuge from those dark lonely places my mind drags me into; those black places where those lonely voices lurk. This is where I come to when the ghousts come for their nightly visits and won't take the hint to shove off.
The few times I have posted about my boys, someone has always reached out to let me know that I was not alone. Those people have touched me deeper than they can posssibly know. Thank you.
I would like to personally thank whom ever started Freeones and have kept this board going; you have helped me a great deal even though you did not intend to.
A special thanks goes to Senob66, Maleonetwo, Becks...poamr, Milfman, Dr. Motorcity, Aces and Jacks, Will E Worm, Fresno, Tartinterrier and a few others for your posts and PM's that seem to arrive at the times I need them most. Thank you all.
And a thanks to everyone else that posts, you make this a lively place to visit.
On a side note: if you are depressed, seek some help; if suicdal, call someone first and talk, there is always someone out there that will listen. If you are in Minnesota or Wisconsin, PM me, I'll give you my phone number and I'll listen. If you are near the Twin Cities, I'll even drive over if it will help. For the sake of your ****** and friends, please talk to someone first.
