America's appetite for iconic cereals declines

As a kid, I liked Fruit Loops and Captain Crunch, but my favorite was Fruity Pebbles.

I blame this on not giving away free toys in the cereal. Hell, when I was a kid that was the whole point of getting the cereal. I hate Fruit Loops but I can't tell you how many half eaten boxes filled the cupboards of my house back in those days.

When people have the convenience of getting an unhealthy breakfast through a drive through window, why would they want to go through the inconvenience of turning a box partially sideways and shaking it into a bowl?

Actually I believe the problem in many cases is an oversaturated market. I mean Cheerios are pretty much a fairly healthy choice. However, where they used to have little competition in the market place of healthy breakfast cereals...now they have a lot of healthy alternatives...so it would obviously cut into their marketshare.

I know mine has declined and it tracks closely to my increased appetite for eating pussy instead.:yesyes:

(Now what to do about trying to add Miss Hybrid to my morning menu...???:()

Are we to take it that you are considering turning cannibal?:dunno:

If that's what it's called to lust after feasting on Smythe snatch...I'm that!!:yesyes::yummie:

try to find a cereal that does have corn syrup and sugar in the stuff. i hate it, its like impossible.

cereal isnt so bad but i hate that its all candy,

Because they're all buying those big ass bags of the generic stuff? Tastes just as good to me.

I'm not the biggest cereal lover but I do like me some cereal.

On a brighter note...I saw that Cocoa Puffs just came out with "Brownie Crunch"!;) No wonder my fellow Americans are in such great shape these days!

Now if that doesn't cry out healthy...I don't know what does! :1orglaugh
