I just spent the last 3 hours doing my taxes! lol It sucked. 
I spent the first hour doing it online with the same place I used last year -- H&R Block. I got 95% done (they even had a 95% completed bar down at the bottom of the screen) and then they fucking wanted to charge me $34.95 to e-file my return, saying I did not qualify under their guidelines for a free e-file, although it says on

that H&R Block offers guaranteed free federal tax return e-filing, no exceptions! BASTARDS!!! I was PISSED. If you haven't filed yet, DO NOT use H&R Block e-file. It sucked ASS and totally ****** my time (plus the "interview" to prepare your return is riddled with ads)!!!
So I sat there waiting on an IM chat help rep to answer my question as to why they were trying to charge me. I waited and waited and waited for an e-rep to get online, and it said I was 80th in queue. I finally said "fuck it" after an hour of waiting and I chose another service through the IRS's page. BOOM I got done with that in half an hour. I then filed electronically with my State as well. Free.
Thank God it's over. The annual nightmare is done. Taxes SUCK. :ban: I want a flat consumption tax. This nonsense of filling out exhaustive forms is absurd. The day and age we're in, tax preparation should not take a fucking accountant to do. E-filing is great because your figuring is done for you, guaranteed accurate, but it's still a pain in the ass to go through so many questionnaires...
Oh well. I'm done and "off the hook" for another year. In fact, the government owes me some of my money back due to overwithholdings... hehehe :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger
