American sandwich vs. European sandwich (parody)

The European sandwich is usually quite modest.

One piece of bread + a bit of margarine

The American sandwich is not modest.

Two or more pieces of bread + lots of fillings

Which of these are better?

Well, I would say that they are evenly matched, but their philosophy is very different.

Euro-sandwich is only a part of the meal and the new continent sandwich can be a whole meal.

You're dead to me. That fuckin water head has been pleaded with; reasoned with; cajoled; threatened; brow beat; and insulted and still he pulls this shit. You'd think I would have put him on ignore by now but I just can't quit him.

Yes, America very good.

When I see that flag these things come to my mind:

Apple pie and Mr Reagan who once said that Frank Sinatra helped him to win the governor elections.

I love assari's parody threads

Thanks baby!

That's true.

I will not sell anything. I will give free stuff.

Isn't that called toast?

Euro-sandwich is usually a very humble, but it can also be a toast.

Whatever snibbly shit Assari eats while icicles collect on his nose is better than the Filipino crapola that I have to eat.

Assari, ever eat Filipino Food? If not then don't.

Northern European food is often very colorless.

I have never eaten Filipino food.

Is it awful and watery thrash?

Yeah me too. For about a year hahaha

Why did you get the super ban?

Excellent point. Put a buncha eggs and bacon on that toast, call it a sandwich, then eat that sumbitch.

lol don't listen to him Assari.

I can't say filipino food is an acquired taste, I grew up on it along with spaghetti, pizza, burgers and dogs (hot dogs, you smart asses). There's some pretty good stuff including desserts. If you ever get the chance, definitely try lumpia. But if anyone mentions balut, just run away.

Assari describes not the european sandwich. I would say it is like this:

Firstly, a "Sandwich" is made with the quadratic piece of bread. Spread butter on it, and add either slices of and/or cheese, tuna, sliced hardboiled eggs, sliced meat and a leaf or two of lettuce and tomato

We have the traditional one in Germany, here in the northern part it's the "-Brot", conjugated with the items on it.

"Wurstbrot - Meat on bread
"Käsebrot - Cheese on bread
"Fischbrötchen" - a specific medel, a fishburger on a oldschool breadroll

In older days, before the american food broke through during the 80ies and 90ies of the last century, there were just those, extremely rarely the newer sandwich.

ow, with "Subway" etc chains spreading, anaything goes. Glad it does, but the old Wurstbrote were far reasonabler priced

This is what my Hungarian friend described as a sandwich, one slice of meat between two slices of bread. He was always amazed watching an American make one with three, or four slices of meat, then topped with anything else that caught our eye.
