As someone who doesn't have an Instagram account, I can't even see the image you are referring to.

Were you the person who posted about this on Reddit @Ratchet_2099?

If you weren't, someone did - asking if the scene ever got released and Alexis herself replied to it to say "yes" without any further detail... so that was helpful LOL

If it is on Brazzers then it's not immediately obvious which one it is.

Yep I asked on the fan page on reddit. I think at this point It's probably one of those scenes that they will release years down the line or simply just forgot about. There's no trace of it other than that Instagram post. It's a shame she looks fantastic with the blue latex and hairstyle.

Tried searching for it in IAFD but it does not come up. Do Brazzers sometimes shoot stuff and hold it back for years or just never release it?
Depends.

An example of holding things back ...

Brazzers is well known for warehousing scenes. When the Pandemic hit with the Brazzers Las Vegas studio shut down and the adult industry being down in general in 2020 and 2021 (all studios were shut down), the Brazzers webmaster was creating "best of" compilation scenes. They are still up on the website. When they started production up again, current scenes at the time (2021, 2022) were put into storage.

Two examples of never releasing a scene ...

Nikki Benz alleged a sexual harassment claim against her male costar Ramon Nomar and director Tony T. in 2018-2019. That scene was never released. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office may still have it.

August Ames accused a male pornstar of sexually assaulting her in a 2017 Brazzers scene. This was through a Twitter post. Most people believe that the male costar was Markus Dupree. That scene was also never released. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office may also still be in possession of it. That scene may also have led to August taking her own life at at the end of 2017.

And lastly ...

They had a Holly Halston Brazzers Mommy Got Boobs episode with Johnny Sins and Charles Dera (as the best man, in a non-sex role) where Holly plays the bride's ****** in a wedding scene. Apparently, the boom operator thought it would be funny to put real **** in the bottles that Holly was ******** from instead of red grape juice. All this, unbeknownst to her. Sure, she was ******** red grape juice at first. But later red burgundy **** as well. And she got *****. That scene was up on the Brazzers site for a short time but it was later taken down.

So they're basically slowly releasing their stock of scenes they filmed from 2021 to 2022 over time?

I couldn't tell you anything about that. The Brazzers Forum ended in 2016 about a year after the Twistys Treat Contest scandal. There was so much negative discussion because of that. Manwin Productions (the former name of the owners) did not take kindly to that and they closed out the Brazzers Forum basically silencing all the complainers at Brazzers and before that, Manwin did the same at the Twistys Forum in 2015. Later, member comment areas on the Brazzers website ceased after the site upgrades in 2018-2019. Mindgeek / Aylo, as the owners of the site, has told their webmaster to not allow any comments about their business practices. [Good, bad or indfferent]; written comments by site members are not allowed.

You would have to poise that question of scene storage to the Probiller representative (as they are the people who you can actually talk with) -- you may or may not get an answer. Now who is Probiller? Just in case you didn't know. They are the Mindgeek / Aylo billing processor.

As for this specific scene with Alexis Fawx and Zac Wild ... whose to say when it will be released? I have no idea.

If we were to take her word for it though, then it was released.

Do pornstars ever truly know whether their scenes get released? You would think so, but then again there might become a point where they are past caring/checking. As long as they pick up a paycheck, then that's all they are worried about I guess.

All I can think is that maybe that pic/post is a bit of a mislead and it was just a bit of fun/makeup and wasn't for an actual scene - or was someone else's scene and she just put the outfit on... or something along those lines.

I did see a scene where she had that blue eye makeup on around her eyes but can't remember what is was.

You can see it is in a kitchen so maybe look for scenes with that kitchen instead of sci-fi themed scenes which seemingly don't exist? And that is assuming that it isn't hers or someone else's kitchen and is a porn set. But even then it might just be a gathering in another room of the house.

Given that she said this scene was released though, it would suggest she recognizes it for what it is - and yet it still doesn't really help us because we've been going under that assumption and still can't find it.

Personally, I would struggle to believe that is is a scene that's been on ice for 2-3 years. If it hasn't been released, it probably never will be - I'd say.

For those who are curious:

the Twistys Treat Contest scandal
In 2014, Twistys.com became embroiled in a controversy between the company and subscribers when users on the Members Forum at Twistys pointed out irregularities in their "Treat of the Year" contest, an annual competition where fans vote for their favorite Twistys Treat of the Month of the previous year. Several forum users pointed out the significant delay in announcing the winner and runner-up, when in prior years the winners were announced immediately after the conclusion of voting. Subsequently, in March 2014, the results were announced with Nicole Aniston winner and Vanessa Veracruz runner-up.

However, forum users were quick to point out that the winners announced were not in line with preliminary votes shown before the contest ended, showing Vanessa Veracruz, a girl-girl performer winning. Speculation among users suggested Twistys.com of fixing votes to ensure two boy-girl models would win the contest and trip to Costa Rica for the "Treat of the Year" shooting. Subsequently, Twistys.com replaced Vanessa Veracruz as runner-up and announced Madison Ivy. Users suspected that when a girl-girl model received the most votes among site members, Twistys.com invalidated the results and selected Nicole Aniston and Madison Ivy (two boy-girl performers) as the winners.[17] Vanessa Veracruz was exclusively a girl-girl performer. Accordingly, this was part of a shift within the company to transition the site to "harder" content, rather than the soft pornography for which Twistys.com had been known. Insiders reported that a VP declared that the "Twistys Treat of the Year" filming in Costa Rica would require boy-girl scenes.

Twistys.com faced backlash from subscribers, especially on the Members Forum. In response, Twistys.com subsequently took down the Members Forum at Twistys, leading several subscribers to cancel their membership. This led to calls by subscribers and Vanessa Veracruz to boycott Twistys.com and support ethical business behavior.[18] In the end, Nicole Aniston and Madison Ivy remained "Treat of the Year" and runner-up, leaving many fans of the site disgruntled and leading to the resignation of Twistys production manager Rob who cited the controversy as the reason.
