Did a (brief) search for a thread like this, nothing really came up... although I did find the 13 goriest album covers (nothing I hadn't seen, but still enough to kill any urge I had to touch my penis for a week). Use this thread to post your favorite album art, album art from your favorite bands, laughably horrible album art, whatever. I find that most of my favorite bands have pretty awesome cover art, and that it adds to the mystique of the albums and the band itself when the art isn't just some half-assed, slapped-together-at-the-last-second crap. The one exception (in my case) being Queens of the Stone Age, who I am convinced do it on purpose. Also, anyone who posts "Dark Side of the Moon" will invariably be judged a complete rube. Based on his contributions to the "What are you listening to?" thread, I suspect that SlaughterSun will beat most of your choices. Here's a few of my favorites:
