Similar to Michael Jackson, the media love kicking someone when they are down which often send these PEOPLE further into depression and ultimately further erractic behaviour, which again the media uses to ostracise them.

my feelings from other thread .

I liked him.
he was just a little older than me and i remember right before different strokes
came on tv he would do these little like 15 second promos for it.
i remember thinking what a funny looking little kid he was, but not ugly.
Different strokes was actually a good show, most involved a positive message in life.
I liked him, I'm bummed.

How dare you compare the two! Wacko Jacko was a filthy paedo!

Not saying they are alike but how the media can ostracise and make fun of certain individuals whatever the low point they reach in their lives. ps I also believe the law is innocent until proven guilty and as far as I'm aware MJ was never found guilty of any sort of paedophilia related crimes :dunno:

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I guess we'll never know what Willis was talkin' bout...

I think MJ incited the media orgy whereas Gary Coleman seemed like the media's whipping boy.

I think your statement accurately fits Gary Coleman but no MJ. MJ was the greatest entertainer of my generation, but he did let lose all sense of reality after the "Bad" album, imo.

I remember when everyone thought that if one young cast member from Diff'rent Strokes was to pass away it would be Todd Bridges. Now he's the only one left! :(
