I'm having some trouble of piecing puzzles as to why God chose Israel as his chosen people. I know the reasons as to because he wanted Jesus to be a born from the peoples, but why them? I kind of feel like if it is his "favorite", and other peoples who find God it is like "good for the rest of you, welcome to my kingdom".
Or am I misdefining "chosen" and "favorite"?
