Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
It appears that there may be some possibility for foul play in the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight #370 over the South China Sea off the southern coast of Vietnam early on Saturday morning. Eerily similar to the disappearance of Air France Flight #447 over the central Atlantic Ocean back in 2009, there was no distress call when the plane carrying 239 passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on an overnight red-eye flight suddenly vanished from radar about 2 hours into the flight. Preliminary investigation has determined that 2 passengers on the flight were using stolen passports but, at this early juncture in the probe, nothing of any concrete nature has been identified as to the cause of the plane's sudden disappearance. An oil slick has been spotted but, so far, no jetsam or debris field has been identified.
