Yeah, it's looking more and more like that. If they went down in the sea, how the hell do you find them?
If they went down in the sea, regardless of the angle, there would be some sort of debris field. Hitting water after a 35,000 foot dive at 500-plus mph would be like slamming into concrete. There would be immense bits of jetsam....just like there was in the Air France flight. If they cannot pinpoint an area where they went down, there's no legitimate hope of finding the black boxes.
This is getting stupid.
I'm no Aviation expert but don't planes have GPS and those Black Box thingys?
Isn't it almost impossible, with all of today's technology, NOT to locate a BIG fucking plane?
Them mufuckas dead, either in the side of a mountain or under the sea with Sponge Bob.
Haven't you watched Con Air? You can turn all that off, I think.
The question is why did it get lost prior to it's alleged crash? Terrorists?
The plane has a transponder that specifically identifies it to the departure, enroute and arrival radar controllers. It also transmits altitude and airspeed data. The transponder can be deactivated by the pilot but the plane would continue to be identifiable as a radar blip. However, no specific identification (airline and flight number) or flight telemetry would be available. The radar blip would only cease to be visible when or if the plane dropped below a specific altitude at which it would be indistinguishable from other objects (usually referred to as "ground clutter"). Over the ocean, there is little or no ground clutter so, specifically, this flight should have remained visible as a radar contact nearly all the way to the water.
Also, the claim that the plane was perhaps in the process of "turning around" could easily be explained if the transponder was deactivated and the plane was put into a steep dive. In this type of instance it would not be unusual at all for the plane to go into a wide, sweeping bank at the same time which, with the altitude and airspeed being unknown, could be masked as a simple turn when, in fact, it was actually just a consequence of the steep dive toward the ocean.
It's the lack of a debris field that makes this so bizarre. 777s don't just disappear but the plane is obviously gone so....
WHERE THE FUCK DID IT GO???? :dunno:
