Meanwhile, Dumbrowski is putting Mad Max on the trading block, along with Porcello. But the price tag on the soon-to-be-crowned Cy Young winner will be exorbitant...like if I walked into a Lexus dealership with my piggy bank. Maybe the Tigers could bolster their on-again, off-again bullpen by dealing Porcello along with some other flotsam on the roster...most notably Prince Fielder. In any case, around here the word is that people are getting impatient with a Tiger team that promises but ends up not delivering. Ever see a celebrity Playboy spread that disappointed you? Like that.
Cardinals are supposedly pursuing a trade for Troy Tulowitzki. As long as no one named "Wacha" is part of the deal, I'm willing to listen to what the Rockies want to get in return. I'd also hate to see Matt Adams be traded. Outside of Holliday, he's the only legitimate and consistent power threat we've got (assuming Beltran signs with the Yanks as is rumored).

Also, guess the Braves need a new stadium. I mean, after all, Turner Field is almost 17 years old!

If the Cards do lose Beltran, they will need another big bat. The Jays could make Bautista available for 1 of the Cards young arms (Wacha)
There's no way they are trading Wacha....period. The kid is going to be front-line ace for the next 12 years....likely Cy Young winner at some point. You just don't trade that....especially for a 33-year old over-achieving home-run hitter whose power numbers are in decline with a .254 career batting average. No thanks, ain't gonna happen.
Could the Cards get in the David Price sweepstakes? (IF he is available)
