Dutchman Bert-Jan Lindeman (Vacansoleil) won the 50th edition of the Ronde van Drenthe in the Northern Netherlands.

Norway’s Edvald Boasson Hagen won stage three of Tirreno-Adriatico from Indicatore to Terni.
Luis Leon Sanchez won stage six of the Paris-Nice race after a sprint duel with veteran Jens Voigt.

Belgian De Gendt dropped breakaway companion Rein Taaramae of Estonia on the stage's final climb, the first category Col De Vence, then rode solo for nearly 90 minutes to Vacansoleil's third win of the race.
Slovakia's Peter Sagan won a marathon fourth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico from Amelia to Chieti, while Christopher Horner took the overall race lead.

Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas-Cannondale) won stage five of Tirreno-Adriatico from Martinsicuro to the ski resort of Prati di Tivo to move up to third overall in the general classification.

Wiggins wins Paris-Nice in style
Bradley Wiggins soared to Britain's first overall win in the Paris-Nice in 45 years with an agonisingly close victory in the final uphill time trial to Col D'Eze.

Think he's on his doping program yet?
With Bert outta the way maybe he won't have to this year.

p.s. -- wasn't the last Brit winner of P-N a doper as well? Not really a good track record...
