Here's my :2 cents: on the NC game: LSU had the better team on all fronts, except the two most important. Alabama had a better offense and they definitely have a better coaching staff. Add in the fact that the LSU players were partying too much in the days before the game, it's a surprise the score wasn't worse.

Moving on...
As for next BCS championship, everyone seems to be pushing Bama, Oregon, or USC, but not LSU. The Bengal Tigers will be loaded, their schedule isn't too tough, except maybe Texas A&M, and they have an open date before playing Bama at home, while Bama doesn't have an open date before the LSU game. LSU does have two glaring problems:
1) Quarterback - They haven't had a decent QB in years, and when you platoon two or more not-so-good QB's, you're not giving either a chance to mature.
2) Les Miles - If this guy ever gets his head outta his ass, they could do some real damage. He reminds me of Pat Dye, outstanding at recruiting, but mediocre at coaching, winning mostly with an overwhelming defense.
If LSU can solve just one of these problems, they will make a return.

Recruiting
Here in Alabama, Nick Saban is really being raked over the coals for his classless moves of yanking scholarship offers. Can anyone tell me, how's the media outside of Bama commenting?
