Here are some of my memories of important events in our forums during the past year. They are in no order of significance, and they may be only important in my eyes. So you can agree or disagree and you can submit your own. At the end of the year, I'll compile a list of the top ten so we all can choose the most significant event for the entire year from that list.
My suggestions:
- People love Freeones. Membership records were broken several times and more importantly, returning ****** members outnumber new members 2 to 1 in the Talk forum. They just can't stay away.
- A single thread in the Games forum has made the Rep system obselete/insignificant, as far as its intended use.
- We have a our only dual membership consisting of PD & DD and they are expecting a *****. Have you had the baby yet PD?
- Nightfly's exit (at least under that screen name). 'Nuff said.
- Spammers, Spammers everywhere. May only be significant for Mods.
- Self-exiled member LadyLove returns with a very positive impact in the Talk forum.
- 2 hosting sites reject Freeones, causing an uproar in the signature hosting biz.
- Crissy Moran leaves porn and with the exception of a select few (most notably Sandee Westgate) OCSMs rarely post anymore.
- The Angela Devi drama. If you don't know about it I refuse to rehash it, so you better do a search.
- This is the first year that I've been here where we've gone the entire year without the inmates trying to overrun the prison. (Banning does wonders)
