During the time I worked as a lay judge at the Landgericht, 10th Strafkammer, the judge I usually assisted was a guy, muscular, somewhat stocky, who really surprised me, when he came in the first time, took off his jacket, and I saw half a dozen Wacken entry bands around his right arm

Absolutely! And Wacken is one I really, really want to go to at some point. It tends to sell out before the band line up is announced though. ;-\
