Considering the type of work they have done, and the type of characters they have played they are using the term "gone mainstream" very liberally. Those are all publicity stunts and not them doing anything serious.

i haven't seen it yet, i don't see it as selling out either, getting paid to put yourself out there even more, hell if i was an actor you'd be seeing me all over the place, and hating me every minute for it. i'd say it's blind jealousy, but that's just kind of mean and spiteful. . .
I think he was one of the extra's cheering the Ghostbusters on near the end of the film.holy shit who was ron jeremy in ghostbusters?! i HAVE to watch that movie again haha
