WMP 11 multiple instances? I wanted to know if there was any way to get WMP 11 to open in multiple instances? I looked at all the options and cannot find one that allows it. Even checked the oldschool menu that can be brought up. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Need to give more info I think... I can watch a movie clip that I download, but that same clip would not work if I just click on the link. Vids like youtube vids work. Norton isn't interfering.

not using firefox. If norton or windows defender were blocking WMP from accessing the internet when I click a link, it would give me some sort of message saying WMP was trying to right? Very much appreciate the help, been having the problem for awhile and I can't figure it out.

Could it be anything aside from codecs? I got ffdshow and I think something else I downloaded awhile back. Also, it happens every time without fail. I would figure that simple chance would yield one that would work now and again. The problem also only happens when I try to open online stuff...

Got a new comp awhile back that uses vista and Windows Media Player 11. When I try to click on vids it gives me the 'internet explorer cannot display webpage' message. On the old comp I would click a vid link and it would simply open WMP. Ideas on how to fix? My thanks ahead of time.
