Would be nice to have Nady back in a Mets uniform. Right now, he would be a better option than the young guys they've got trying to fill the gap.

Just realized Nixon went on the DL recently...yeah, they need at least a decent utility outfielder, if not a semi-star

I think they might try and pick up an outfielder, but I'm not sure who. Alou is now gone for the season after tearing a hammy in a rehab game, Church is sadly in and out of dizziness lately, and the Trot Nixon pickup they made a few weeks back seemed a little weak to me.

Yeah, those Mets are tearing it up lately! I think the key has been good pitching, even more so than hitting. Today Pedro comes out after only 4 innings and the bullpen does the job. It's just an overall effort, and I'm loving it while it lasts!

Hey! Well the Mets bounced back last night with a nice win, and they've won 6 of their last 10. I think they look better since the managerial change, though I still think it wasn't really Willie's fault at the heart of it. Jerry Manuel has instituted a lot of changes in hitting and warm up drills and I think the team is better for it. They're 4 games out so still very much in it. Just got to generate some more offense. But that's been the story almost all year.
