I gotta disagree with the peak as far as looks. I think the peak was sometime in the 00's. Looking back on the 80s chicks, comparing them to now, there has been a HUGE improvement. I think the last 5-8 years have seen a slight dip in the quality of new girls entering.

I grew up about 30 minutes south of where this happened and in high school would surf a lot. Every so often you'd see a shark...maybe 2-3 times a year. Just something you got used to. When it happened, you'd get out of the water...no big deal. Obviously attacks will happen, but they're rare.
