And if I'm not mistaken, Hillary hasn't been pardoned. The next FBI director (not playing the role of a reasonable prosecutor) will not decide whether a case should be brought against her. And will understand the actual statutes of the laws she's broken.

Granted the so-called "optics" of this firing are not good, but unless Comey's replacement is someone who's obviously in Trump's pocket I imagine all will go forward as it would have with Comey, including the collusion-with-Russia investigation.
