Ate there more former liberals than there are former conservatives?

Younger people tend to be more liberal whereas older and those who are married and with ******** tend to be more conservative. It seems as people get older, take on more responsibility, have to deal with the real world, they tend to be more conservative. Who goes the other way around? As in they start off conservative and turn liberal? I know there are those who do, but there seems to be more of the former.

What is that saying? A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged. What's the equivalent of the reverse?

The current younger generation, the ones some call snowflakes and buttercups, will be simply ****** over by by society and history and eventually die.
Some of them will **** up to reality when they realize that their degree in ancient indigenious womans interpretive dance can't land them a job and the banks start coming after them for their student loans which they can't pay back.
They are the "everyone gets a trophy" generation and they will never produce anything that will make them in demand.

Its the generation that comes after them that will make the difference.
The ones growing up now who most are already more aware than the 20 something generation is.
The ones growing up knowing the MSM lies to them everyday. Knows their school is trying to ********* them to all think alike and become obedient workers.
The ones, both black and white who realize that their government is not looking out for their best interests.

That generation will make a difference.
The 20 something snowflake generation will just get ****** over and other than throwing temper tantrums when they don't get their way will influence nothing other than to show the generation after them how not to think and behave.

I never said we are more liberal than their parents on socio-economic issues, actually, it's quite split, maybe slightly leaning towards the left but nothing really significant. Just much more progressive on social issues such as those i listed. Nome, what kinds of consequences will "smashes us in the face" so hard that we'll just just simply "lay down and die".

What I think is that, if they want to stay a ***** to be reckoned with in the political arena, the right will have to soften their stance on these issues.

Progressives vs Conservatives will be the real divise factor in the future, not capitalists vs socialists (as it used to be all along the XXth century) since the Left is just dying (the whole political spectrum is moving to the right : what used to be the Right is now Far Right, th Center-Right is now Right, the Center-Left is Center-Right, the Left is Center-Left and the Radical-Laft is now the Left)

That never mattered to me. I've been a moderate liberal ever since my teens. Age hasn't changed that. Becoming a success in my field didn't change that. I basically support the same social causes now that I did then. Being in a higher tax bracket isn't in any way damaging my quality of life, or my ability to care for those closest to me. And although the methods are hardly foolproof, I'm ok with the general concept that some of that tax money trickles down to those who haven't been so fortunate.

The term "neo-con" - those who essentially left the left and became conservative (some of whom were considered intellectuals ((forgive me if I get that wrong. As a non-intellectual, I thought the criteria for that title was just being "really smart." But there's brilliance vs. good ol' fashioned God-given common sense. (((not sure if all the parentheses apply here but I DIGRESS))) -are they no longer smart because they're no longer liberal?
