well phoenix marie is still going strong and one could argue kelly was as popular if not even more than her in their prime so i think it may be a conscious decision by kelly herself to take a step back from producing as many porn scenes. don't think you can really be 'replaced' in porn. everyone has their time in the limelight where they 'peak' so to say which can last from anywhere between a couple months to a year or two but as with anything sexual geared towards men, newer fresher faced females will always usurp older ladies, at least for a time. the key is can the older ladies (older meaning years in the business not necessarily age) sustain their popularity. once she can then she can never truly be 'replaced', she will always have her core fans which will flock to see her still. sara jay has been in the business damn near 15 years or so and best believe her fan-base is one of the biggest still in porn. she may not be the 'it' girl anymore like she was back in the mid 2000s but she is irreplaceable to her core fans. just like kelly is irreplaceable to me/us.
