Every single religion that implicate one ore several "god(s)"
Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoïsm, Epicureanism, Stoicism, etc. are not religions but philosophies.
They don't tell you "God doesn't wxant you to do that, he will send you to Hell if you do". They say "If you wanna have a happy life, you'd better not do that..."
They don't have laws that they trie to impose on people.
No one ever said "I ****** this person because what he was doing is wrong according to Buddha".
Confucianists never started a war tom impose Confucius principles on other people.

The only real religion I could accept would be the Maradonian Church

To the approximately 300 million practitioners worldwide, Buddhism is considered their religion. Like all major religions Buddhism contains an explantion of the origin of existence, a morality, and a specific set of rituals and behaviors. However, as generally Buddhists do not ascribe to the belief in a sentient, all-pervasive Creator, some claim that Buddhism fails to be a religion. Most of those folks claiming those weird things you seem to wanna lay at religious people's doorstep are either locked away as crazy folks often are, or dead. While it's true I didn't grow up in the same crazy house you obviously did, I have met thousands of folks who never say **** like that, and go to church as well as pray to God.

Religious philosophy gives a population a basis for a code of conduct, that is the basis for civil society; something that went right over your crazy-eyed head.
Judaism is well over 5000 years old and still going, Chritianity is a few thousand as well; both have evolved and grown into the modern world, while you seem to be stuck in a world of confusion.
Come back in a few thousand years when you've actually had time to think things over.

I have faith, and beliefs...but I'm not scared, and I understand that I didn't hit the lottery, not because God didn't answer my prayers, but because the odds are astronomical, and it's just plain unlikely. It might help your case by not assuming what upbringing I've had. Ofcourse they're locked up yet we have people making a living by telling those people that prayer works, god knows all and gays are evil. The majority of believers, happen to be cowardly moderates and I never met a war Veteran but they do exist. Don't insult the dead chidren of christian science by thinking your experiences trump others. Social anarchy? You're the one who believes I'm going to hell for not believing as you do. You seem to think that being Christ-like (when you're in the mood) overshadows that disgusting belief. Yeah and that code of conduct was **** and slavery condoning. Don't compare religion to ethnicity. Big mistake. Ethnicity doesn't tell people to do anything and if you hold onto the same book of the "god hates fags" people, you're endorsing their beliefs. That is unless you want to claim their intepretation is wrong and only true christians can be moral.
