I'm getting to the point where I want to put a couple of people on Ignore, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger. It's not like I have to give a damn about what someone else posts, and I have preached this in the past. I also don't like running from people/issues/problems because once you start, it's hard to stop. I'm just finding more people tiresome than I remember happening in the past.

Anyone else or am I just turning into a girly-man?

I ignore the ignore feature. And I have you on ignore. Don't ask how I read your post to respond. In fact, ignore this post.

I've used it. But, I don't anymore. I rather enjoy reading all the posts now.

The ignore feature makes me feel like a politician: if I hide the problem, it goes away. Problem solved.

I would never use it. Why? Think I want some yahoo on here talking **** about me to others and I can't see what the bitch is saying? It's self defeating, I believe. I've thought about it but I'd rather I can see the **** trash talkers spew and not let 'em dink around without repercussions. :2 cents:

There's an ignore feature? Huh, explains why no one notices my posts...

There are a couple of special members here at FreeOnes that I have on ignore. it has made my life better.

If you ignore me you sure as hell are not getting that honey baked ham I give you every holidays!

We notice your posts, we just give them the implied face palm treatment.

The way I feel about it, is kind of the way you feel about that ache in your side. You know it's not just some kind of muscular ache, it's obviously some kind of bone or brain cancer, but the so called doctors say otherwise. So you just live with it, knowing that in the end, you'll prove them all right.

From a moderation point of view it makes my life easier because people stop bitching and reporting posts because "He said something mean to me".

Your all adults, you shouldn't need the ignore feature - If you don't like what someone posts, you by default shouldn't react to it.

But then again, when could I ever count on the members of freeones to act like adults.
