Hey guys! Hope your week's going great! It's "humpday" and so far my humpday can go fuck itself. hahaha. I was up ALL night last night dealing with techie crap. You guys know I **** that more than just about anything. I am happy to report that I did not **** my somputer or any humans either. haha

i guess ill step to the plate on this one and say that though this is very strange, just because people are jewish doesnt mean they keep kosher. in fact ive taken great pleasure in eating pork ribs while observing passover (when you cant eat bread among other things). though id imagine your deli man just got confused and believes hannukah is just christmas for jews

Maybe he was a "reformed" Jew or he was from a new sect or something! Ha ha ha! Last time I checked anyway, NO Jews eat pork! Ha ha ha! I guess that's why marketing "geniuses" like the person who thought up a special on hams for Chanukah make the "big bucks"! What's next, a special on pork chops for Yom Kippur??? Ha ha ha!

No, I am not Jewish. For the record I'm a Protestant, and I'm really barely even that! Ha ha ha!

I'll be blunt, and say that the the deli man was an idiota and he wasn't thinking. Of course, nobody that worked at the store could think either! It reminds me of a "scandal" a few years back that arose over a store running a special on fried chicken "In Honor of Black History Month"! Was there any malice of intent in either of the two cases? Probably not. Was it likely a case of people simply not even thinking (to put it nicely)? ABSOLUTELY!

jitna, if you don't mind me asking....are you saying you are Jewish and you eat pork ribs, even during Passover? Like I've said, I'm not Jewish, but I always believed that eating pork was beyond simply not being Kosher....I always thought it was downright sinful for Jewish people and Muslims! Technically, eating pork by anyone who subscribes to the Bible would be a sin.....but especially for Jews. But, then again, I'm not overly religious, I'm not a biblical scholar, and more importantly in this case, I'm not Jewish.....so what do I know? Ha ha ha!

Hey everyone...question!
I just receieved 2 items off of the wishlist created here on freeoenes for valentines day. They were sent to my LA address but I am not there so they were forwarded to me here. Anyway the wishlist posted by freeones is with a company thet freeones is now doing biz with. The wish list eset up is new and there are kinks being worked out. For example the two items that were purchased are still showing on my wishlist. Also I have NO IDEA who bought them and gave them to me. THAT leads me to my question. Did any of you guys buy anything for me off of that wishlist or know someone who did?
I would like to be able to thank them properly and can't do so if I don't know who they are. I will be using both items in my shoot on Tuesday for my website so THANK YOU so much whomever sent them!

Well, without thinking, I got us each part of the Italian sub, as I felt it was the best of the bunch. Needless to say, he politely said that he couldn't eat it. I was like....hmmm....then it hit me and I said "oh, yeah....DUH!!!!" Ha ha ha! So, it's all in how devout one is I guess!

yeah, its about how much you care. though i imagine if he had a problem eating pig, he also had problems with eating meat with cheese. and technically the meat was probably not kosher either (even the turkey). the veggie sub was probably fine, but seriously who the hell eats a veggie sub?

We got the veggie sub for vegetarian students.....so the answer is vegetarians. Ha ha ha! But, in your defense, the veggie sub was always the last one left! Ha ha ha!

Speaking of Subway Party Subs.....did anyone ever pick one of them up? I picked them up for us one time (3 of them), and I had a '00 Chevy Cavalier at the time. Hell, they come on "two by fours," and they don't fit in the trunk! I had to put them in the back seat....and still I had to open the one window so they could stick out....because I couldn't shut the door otherwise! Luckily, I only had a few miles to go to get them to campus! Of course, I then had to take the boards back to get our deposit on them refunded! So, if you ever buy Subway Party Subs.....a pick-up truck is the only way to go! Ha ha ha!

you might have gotten it for them, but would they have gotten it for themselves or would they have rather had something else, you know, like a salad? it may just be my carnivorous bias but a sandwich wouldnt be my vegetarian platter of choice

well, i guess we've all learned something today. thank you, Nikki, for teaching me the ways of the vegetarian. I never considered the needs of the vegetarian on the go. that does make a lot of sense.
