Rangers looking like the best in the AL, Dodgers looking like the best in the NL, boy there's a discrepancy there.
Well I can say with the Rangers I hope it is safe to say that a lot of people were expecting the Dodgers to do well.
Yeah, I say that because Texas is last in the league in pitching, and only 4th in hitting in the AL, whereas the Dodgers are 2nd in the NL in both categories. I smell some falling off for Texas coming, there's bound to be a regression.
Yeah, well, they took 2 from us at Fenway and probably will win the West, but anyhow, they don't even look like the best in AL, that's all I'm saying.Rangers looking like the best in the AL...

Probably not many Jay’s fans here but I have been a fan for years.
It’s too bad they are in with the Yankees and the Sox.
They started of good but have cooled off as of late.

I can see what you are saying there I have been saying now for about the last three weeks when will the LA Angels turn it on and stop just playing .500 baseball:dunno:
and the Rangers are doing it with minimal contibutions from Josh Hamiliton and Chris Davis both of which where important last year plus Padillia pitched a decent game last night. I think the Rangers are in it all year

Yes BUT, if they hope to go all the way they had better get serious about picking up another starting pitcher. Thanks to Manny getting suspended they've got an $8 million rebate to work with.
True to all those numbers shayd but sometimes a team overachives. The Dodgers have plenty of options to scout even though he is hurt currently i'd talk to the padres about jake peavey, and cubs about any starter but carlos
