Terry Pratchett : A double feature book in german:

Voll Im Bilde / Alles Sense

I've reached a point where I'm not really reading anything. I've finished the book I was reading, and I'm looking to buy a couple of new ones soon, but I don't know when I'll be able to get them. I also have a 900 page ******* on my shelf, but I really don't know if it's the right time to begin on it. Decisions, decisions. :helpme:

well i picked up the Scarlet Letter, but i have been getting into Tom Clancy. and last summer I re read the Harry Potter books, including the last one. btw i did see a 45 year old man reading it.

I'm not reading as much, right now, as I normally do, what with classes and coursework, and my work study job at the library.

But I just finished reading a really good book on quantum theory. Right now, I've got some light reading. It's "Words of Wisdom from Big Bird (and the Dark Genius of Oscar the Grouch)" by Carrol Spinney. It's a great book so far.

A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin. The fourth book in the fantasy series entitled 'A Song of Ice and Fire'. It's been so ****** in places that it's actually made me cry. No one does grief and tragedy like Martin.

Excellent choice. A Song of Ice and Fire is my favorite series. It's delightfully ****** and depressing.

I can't wait for the next one. :D

Song Within. It's a historical romance.

Damn, I'm such a girl sometimes.

I'm a girly girl sometimes too, Becks.

I'm reading Jacob by Jacki Frank and Political Terrorism by Grant Wardlaw.

I've read about Martin's style; sounds like a good read. I have the first book of that series... unopened, collecting dust. I haven't read any fantasy stuff in a long time and I've been considering going for something more of a fast read. I'll have to dig that one out.

I'm not actively reading any books right now, mostly news and other articles on the web. The last book I tried to make it through was Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations. Only got about a third of the way through part one before getting distracted. I'll have a running start on it the next time I tackle it at least.

The last book I actually finished (maybe a little less than a month ago) was The Blank Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature, by Steven Pinker. Excellent book, if philosophy, psychology, and the nature vs. nurture debates interest you.

I have also started on Mao Tse-Tung's writings as I'd like to see what Mao was thinking before he ****** tens of millions of his own people.
