Most Over-Rated Athlete

Most over-rated athlete??

It's got to be Dale Earnhardt Jr. Despite his great fan support, the record shows he has only won 17 races, since his Nextel Cup career began, in 1999. Jimmy Johnson, Tony Stewart & Jeff Gordon have won more. He also has not won a Nextel Cup title. Johnson, Stewart and Gordon have.

Your got to wonder, how popular he would be, if is name was not Earnhardt.

On well, maybe he will get better, now that he is with Hendricks Motorsports.
athlete?

athlete?

while I tend to hesitate to call race car pilots athletes I happen to find it pretty funny that someone who has a baseball banner in his sig laughs at pilots being called athletes.
baseball player aren´t exactly the biggest athletes either. how someone can watch that "sport" for HOURS is beyond me. I don´t get how watching a pitcher scratch his nuts for about 10 minutes until he releases his pitch is exciting and how baseball is considered top as a national sport.
I can see how its fun playing it yourself but my goodness.. actually WATCH baseball? what a snoozefest.
most-overrated sport = baseball
thats for sure.
so yea.. think before you post your third consecutive post containing something like "athlete? "

What does the length of time an event takes have to do with the amount of athleticism it requires?

athletism as in Roger Clemens? or maybe David Ortiz?

I´ve never seen athletes being so immobile and still being able to make millions of dollars.

the only athletism you will see in baseball is from the infielders and once in a while outfielders can show off their mighty prima ballerina skills.

but yea other than that... the punchline should be: Baseball - Where every fatass can still ***** of a Pro Career

1. where did you learn to read? I clearly wrote race car pilot, you only quoted the word pilot... maybe dyslexia?

2.you didnt but you are implying that actual athletes such as Michelle Wie, who might not be the best in what she is doing but still has more talent in her pinky than most of the **** bellied baseball players you love to cheer for, are less athletes than those who definitly don´t deserve the term athlete. the funny thing is that golf and baseball are actually pretty similar on the excitement level.

3. yea, I´m glad too I´m not stuck infront of the TV or in a stadium watching fatasses scratch their nuts and spit.

4. how old are you?

Uh Oh.....this looks like trouble. But,seriously,I know You were asking someone else this question;however,I will answer the last one.I am old enough to know that You can't argue with Baseball or Nascar fans.It is a lost cause.Back to the topic of the most overrated "athlete",I would have to say Michael Vick at this point. And with His personal life troubles I don't expect Him to ever amount to what was expected of Him.

baseball player aren´t exactly the biggest athletes either

I've played baseball since I was a little ***. At the age of 14, I began getting scouted by MLB teams to play catcher. I was involved in practices with the Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies and the Florida Marlins and let me tell you...

Baseball players are ATHLETES

I agree, especially that one guy, what the hell was his name. Oh yeah RUTH damn that guy didn't have an ounce of talent.(end sarcasim)

:1orglaugh say one or a few inflammatory things about NY and everybody starts pointing fingers and doing the *** *** dance like I stole the Pope's robe and used for a bath towel. Relax.

Tim Duncan imo one of the best 3 players in the NBA and 90% of the reasons the Spurs are so successful and have such hot cheerleaders.

Anyway, most overrated athlete, Calm agrees with me, it's either Del Piero or Nedved. Joke Calm.

Not funny... *cough*Dida Kaladze Ricardo Oliveira Seedorf*cough*

Tim Duncan is 90%? what about Ginobili and Parker? Ginobili is one of the best and most consistent players in the NBA imo. Every time someone has a weak day, Ginobili is there to cover for him.
