On your computer, do you have your windows/browsers/etc. set to dark mode or do you use the default light mode?

If you don't use dark mode, what exactly is wrong with you?

I think it's those "Morning people" cocksuckers that **** up at 4 and... Get.. this.. ENJOY IT.

Me? I get to ***** at 1 am and **** up at 4am and something is.. quote unquote 'wrong'.

But that's neither here nor unthere. Light mode ppl, like morning ppl, are simply a cancer upon society and can go 'JOG' at the crack of dawn and ***** smoothies and be productive when ******* are supposed to.
The rest of us advanced, civilized and articulate folk turn on dark mode and get things done while yall *****.

I have no idea what the discussion is about. Where should I be looking?

Then if this is the FreeOnes forum, I'm in Classic as opposed to Deep Seas. There's an existing thread on the board about this. Classic vs. Deep Seas.

This is a more general question as in do you use dark mode (Deep Seas is an example) on your computer/device or not? I darken anything that my computer will let me.

Where is this out of interest? I can't find it. Maybe it's called something different.

Too much to elaborate on here!

I actually saw this in the search results but glossed over it because I thought it must've been a profile post of yours given that it was titled "how are you?"

For a question like that, I'd expect a choice of answers of something like:
  • Very well thanks
  • Not so bad
  • I've been better
Hehe. Both threads currently have the same results in terms of how the voting has gone.

Anyway, to answer the question... in terms of this forum my preference is the light theme but I am not averse to dark themes in general on sites. It depends. The Deep Seas one on here strikes me as one that doesn't have quite the right colors and is perhaps something somebody hastily put together when people asked for a dark theme alternative once upon a time. If I was able to I would customize it or create another one, and I dare say others might prefer it too as a third option.

And whilst I use the dark theme on here from time to time, I don't use it enough to get used to the colors like which one means that something hasn't been read and so on. I don't find it particularly intuitive and I get a bit lost. I mostly use the dark theme when I've got a headache or eye strain or whatever as it's much easier on the eye... literally.

Absolute disgust when webpages use white backgrounds.
